BETULA NIG HERITAGE
Grower Notes:

The Heritage Birch is a fast, vigorous grower. It can be grown as a single trunk or a multi-stem. It is noteworthy for its creamy tan bark which exfoliates to reveal a white inner bark that is very similar to the white bark birches. It is such a showy tree! The Heritage also has the most disease resistance of all birches. Its foliage is bright green that ages to a nice pale yellow in fall.

The Heritage Birch thrives in wet soils, but can tolerate drier soil. It will adapt to full sun or part shade and a wide range of conditions. This low maintenance birch makes a great specimen plant along ponds and in foundation plantings.
